Are you at risk because of non-standard portable soccer goals?

by | May 21, 2014 | Portable Soccer goals | 0 comments

Are you aware of the Product Safety Australia mandatory standard for movable soccer goals 28Kgs and heavier? This mandate is to prevent further deaths and injuries from portable soccer goals toppling onto children – 40 deaths worldwide including 7 deaths in Australia alone.

The related Trade Practices Act 1974 – Consumer Protection Notice No. 28 of 2010 – Consumer Product Safety Standard: Movable Soccer Goals provides a detailed account of the issue.

We recommend that you carefully check any portable soccer goals under your management, or that children use are compliant and of course, are safe to use.

All of PM Sport’s portable soccer goals are compliant products, and we are happy to assist with installation and storage advise.
