The Details
The Project
We are very proud to show off our latest project for Christian Brothers College.
Its our biggest so far and the results were fantastic. CBC were willing and wanted to go the extra mile/cost for the best materials money can buy for a cricket training facility.
The PM Sports team have been involved with this project from the outset. We provided input during the planning stages of their proposed building so that we could ensure the practice nets and training areas suited to both cricket players and coaches.
The end result is outstanding and we cant wait to see future results from this world-class cricket facility in South Australia.

The Solution
Cricket Run-up
A long slab out to 34m in total to ensure the run up for the bowlers is more than sufficient, this allows the bowlers to really get into stride before hitting the crease to bowl
Synthetic grass
Top line synthetic grass for the wickets using Gold Cricket. Its not only the most dense grass on the market to ensure a great performance with ball bounce but it has two colours of yarn sewed through together to give it a natural pitch colour look. Its very nice on the eye and its performance under the ball is fantastic.
Conveyer Strap Protection
Rubber conveyor belt back strap around the bottom of the chain wire to protect it and ensure the complex lasts the test of time. We also covered the rubber conveyor in green synthetic grass for aesthetics and it really looks good to finish it off.
A great result!
It was a pleasure working with CBC to design, plan and construct their cricket training facility. The end result shows how CBC is doing all they can to give their students and players every advantage to perform at their best. The results speak for themselves.
